‘Twas the Week Before Christmas
‘Twas the week before Christmas, when all through Missouri,
Shopping malls were filled with gift-givers in a hurry,
In search of the perfect holiday delight,
For friends and for loved ones, when oh! What a sight!
They grabbed their warm hats and adjusted their glasses,
To wonder in amazement at shelves filled with masses,
Of gifts with price tags that could burst any budget;
Families are too precious they mustn’t just fudge it.
So while scratching their heads and with inquisitive eyes,
They looked down the street and to much their surprise;
All was not finished, the answer was near,
The Waldo General would renew their holiday cheer.
He would provide an installment loan of just the right amount;
Now all they had to do with their Christmas lists was count,
The number of dear folks still needing a gift;
For within the blink of an eye, the loan was a lift,
Of their spirits in making the holiday season,
A time full of celebration and giving within reason.
By simple repayments the loan would be paid,
Without any impact to future plans they’d made.
And so the rejoicing began all through the state,
“The Waldo General has me covered, and isn’t he great!”
The next time you’re looking for support in a flash,
you needn’t even speed or make a mad dash,
Because we’re here when you need us, so never fear…
Cheers! Merry Christmas! and Happy New Year!
The Waldo General wishes you and your family a very happy
holiday season filled with friends, family, wonder and delight.
